Richard has been teaching Yoga and Transcendental Meditation for over 30 years. He is a certified teacher of TM (full-time 6-month in-residence Course) and has completed 200 hours of Maharishi Yoga Asana training and 150 hours of Yoga Alliance training.
Maharishi Yoga Asanas are gentle yoga exercises carefully selected by Maharishi in conjunction with some of India’s top Yoga Acharyas. The asanas are designed to optimise good health, mind-body coordination, and stress reduction in everyday life. They help maintain flexibility, aid good digestion, promote better sleep, and lead you to calmness and awareness.
MYA can be practised alone or in conjunction with meditation and breathwork.
In addition to regular MYA at Stanley Studio, we will also soon offer Gentle Flow Yoga, with Surya Namaskar and breathwork, as well as courses on Yoga, meditation and consciousness.
